My tribute to Mrs Monika Talukdar
Mrs Monica Talukdar - the acclaimed Artist in her own right trained among others by the legendary Sh Benode Behari Mukherjee who was also the legendary Shri Satyajit Ray's Art teacher. HER WORK has been exhibited in many galleries In the country and abroad. She was also associated in a "Guru Shishya Parampara "with Dada Dr Dwijen Sen - the well known Sculptor, Artist and Homoeopath Doctor of KALA KENDRA near St Thomas School and has taken much pain in further highlighting Dada Dwijen Sen's work after his passing away .She was the FOUNDER of "Uttarakhand Artists Association " I personally hold the "Book " she has authored in high esteem viz "Footprints of Bengal on the Himalayas " .To quote from the book itself about the Book - " More than a Register of some of the leading lights of the "Bengal Renaissance "who left their footprints on the Himalayas.
